Hire the American Dream: Book Signing with Tim McIntyre
Honorary Host and author Tim McIntyre will be signing his new book, Hire the American Dream, from 6:00-6:30 pm at Washtenaw Literacy’s benefit auction on October 2. Get your copy at the auction for only $15! Washtenaw Literacy will use 100% of proceeds for its tutoring programs.
Hire the American Dream, which Tim co-wrote with Domino’s franchise owner Dave Melton, shows how to inspire, motivate, and promote minimum-wage employees. The key to Melton’s success lies in his infectious enthusiasm and encouragement of employees, many of whom are recent immigrants in their very first job. Melton trains them to be part of a team, make customers happy, and achieve the American Dream by working hard and being rewarded for it.
Tim and Dave are signing books around the country, but in no other venue will the proceeds go directly to adult literacy tutoring programs. Purchase a book voucher at registration to get your hands on this inspirational book and support our local workforce!
